  • The cut out | Wycięci29'

    The film "The cut out" is a story about three anarchists who were sentenced to prison after a wave of street protests in Belarus in 2020. People from over 10 countries united in practical solidarity. The starting point for the film was an artistic solidarity event, during which the film's participants took photos and recorded videos of three anarchists cut out of paper in the local landscape. Through a series of interviews with various people, viewers learn not only about the bocharets, but also gain insight into the political situation in Belarus.

    Born in 1992 in Belarus, Gomel. He has been working since 2018 as a video journalist in Belarus, video creator, cameraman in independent media and projects. He had to move to Poland due to political persecution by the Lukashenko regime in 2020. Since 2021, he has been a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Szczecin at the Faculty of New Media and Animation.

    Born in 1973 in Szczecin, a sociologist and therapist by education, a filmmaker by passion. Co-founder and vice-president of the Kamera Association. Co-author and implementer of many film education and art therapy projects for young people and seniors implemented by the Kamera Association. Director of several documentary films, including “Sususdata”, “Immer Reisebereit”, “Artkadiusz”. Organizer of the Senior Movie Film Festival.

  • Kasia Zimnoch, Paweł Kleszczewski

    A Polish duo of filmmakers and visual artists. Both MA graduates from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. In 2013, they established animation production studio Konik in Cavan, Ireland. Their works have been presented at over fifty international film festivals and arts festivals, winning awards and distinctions, including festivals: Fano in Italy, Clones in Ireland and Pilsen in Czech Republic. In 2018, they received prestigious “Young Poland” Bursary funded by Polish Culture and National Heritage Ministry. They were artists in residency in Sweden, Ireland, Estonia and Germany.

    Independent filmmaker, specializing in documentary films. Founder and president of the Kamera Association from Szczecin. Author and producer of film education projects aimed at young people and seniors. Director of many documentary films, including “Pan Ciasteczko”, “Artkadiusz” or “Mój pierwszy raz”, which were presented at many film festivals in Poland and abroad (e.g. Grand Prix for “Mój pierwszy raz” at the FICAE 2017 festival in Valencia). Director of the Senior Movie Film Festival.
