Maja Wolińska - ives and works mostly in Wrocław. Does artistic and didactic work at the Department of Media Arts at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. The scope of her research and artistic activity includes moving images, their structure and relation with time, the methods of presenting and producing content. She deals both with the “laboratorial” form – synthetic images, non-linear and interactive narrative, as well as the form embedded within “external” context – from site-specific installations to observatory and paradocumentary productions. Since 2010 she has been doing the Commonheavens project with Joan Leandre, and one of the productions that constitute the project received first prize of the Polish Competition at Szczecin European Film Festival in 2014.
