Let's Talk Film
This year's edition of Let's Talk Film is uniquely diverse. The matter of our utmost interest will be presented from a different perspective – how much a plot benefits from a documentary and how close the cinema is to life?
We will meet a legend of Polish cinema, Krzysztof Zanussi, with whom we will talk not only about his newest production but also about his impressive oeuvre and life path.
Together with Joanna Kos-Krauze, we will take a closer look at his iconic story about human compassion regarding political events (“Birds are singing in Kigali”). We will discover new artistic areas, studying the way the film intermutes other art forms – applied arts included. On the crossroads of cinema, fashion and new media we will meet acknowledged artists such as Maria Sadowska, Tomasz Lazar (photographer), and Michał Marczewski (designer). The background of the meeting will be constituted by … fashion productions of the remarkable Wim Wenders.
